The man who was injured when his semi-truck rolled over him last Sunday in Longview remains in the intensive care unit at St. John Medical Center.
68-year-old J.D. Nobles of Joseph, Oregon, had pulled over on Tennant Way to check on his trailer when the rig rolled over his arm and then dragged him under.
Nobles suffered a fractured arm, several broken ribs, and a skull fracture. A local clergyman had stopped to help Nobles prior to the accident. After the vehicle rolled and Nobles was unconscious and bleeding, the local pastor quickly called 911, and paramedics arrived and transported Nobles to the emergency room.
Nobles’ daughter, Lacey Nobles Webber, who played basketball at Lower Columbia College in 2004 and 2005, says the quick actions of the local pastor saved her father’s life.
