Christopher John Heaney

Christopher John Heaney: June 20, 1973 – February 1, 2025

LONGVIEW- Christopher John Heaney went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 1, 2025. Born in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, his family returned to Longview when he was young. He finished school as a 1994 graduate of R.A, Long High School. After his graduation and being in the MOTF program for the ISD, he continued there for 12 years working in the transportation department. As a teenager, he worked for McAleer Nursary and Arleen and Jed became a second family to him. In his free time, he liked to fish (especially at Silver Lake with his grandfather). Love on his bunnies, going to car shows and helping at the Radical Love Kitchen.

Christopher was predeeded in death by his mother Catherine Wiebe Heaney and grandparents, John and Doris Wiebe. He is survivied by sisters Jacqueline Wiebe Pfannes and her husband Gary, Cindy Billups Deccio and her husband Darin and Frances Heaney. Brother Don Heaney and his wife Donna. Nieces Catherine Pfannes and McCall Deccio. Cousins Mary Lou Miller and her husband Matt and Jackie Carver. Christopher was also survived by a special friend Ann Smith.

He was loved by the community and everyone he met. His family will sprinkle his ashes on one of his favorite spots.
